It’s about as sharp as a piece of buttered toast and it is difficult to remove the knife from the sheath but aside from that it gets the job done. The blade it’s self is fine, sturdy with a nice heft, but I would prefer it if it were a solid blade instead of having about a third of it serrated. All and all, I wouldn’t suggest it but it works so I can’t be too harsh.

…I did some research before buying it and found that it comes unsharpened so I knew before hand I would have to sharpen it. I got it pretty sharp but for what I use this knife for it doesn’t have to split hairs. I use it mainly for diving. The only reason I wont give more stars is because of the way it locks into the sheath, it is somewhat hard to get out and I’m afraid one day the plastic sheath will break, I would just make another sheath for it as the knife works great.

I bought this knife as a present for another person and I almost feel embarrased to give it. I have never owned a knife so dull before. Seriously, you could get more cutting done with a butter knife! As a result it needs to be sharpened with a bench grinder because conventional sharpening stones, carbide sharpeners, and diamond sharpeners dont do the trick. The piercing tip is actually non-existent because they stopped honing the edge about 1/32 of an inch from the end of the point. The sheath is the cheapest kind possibe (Made out of plastic similar to that in milk containers). I got lured into buying this knife because it looked cool and the price was right but seriously I would’ve felt better paying 5 to 10 dollars more and getting a knife that can actually be called a knife. Just pass this one up and go to a better product.

MediaWerk…Should call himself MediaJERK. Some of his items are dropshipped from a third party and take almost a month to receive. Some items are never shipped. Regardless, he will not answer your emails. He loads his own feedback rating with false positives. He needs to be removed from Amazon. This is why I always hesitated buying from an individual.
